Mill City Sound was founded with a simple goal: to give the southwestern metro area a great neighborhood record store – the kind of place that feels good to hang around, where people talk music all day long.

But something happened that we didn’t expect.

Our passion for vinyl has made us a mecca for music lovers.

We are continuously buying amazing record collections and adding them to our already huge used vinyl area. And as far as fresh pressings go, we stock not only the best new releases, we also have one of the area’s largest vinyl back catalogs.

Our goal is to have everything you want – and what you least expected to find.
